🔵 A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a certified professional who works implementing behavioral therapy for individuals with autism and developmental disorders using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to build communication, social, and daily living skills.
🔵 Vida Training Center has trained over 40,000 Registered Behavior Technicians, many of whom have gone on to become Board Certified Behavior Analysts and leaders in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
🔵 Our programs provide full training and meet all required BACB standards, utilizing board recognized curriculum to ensure students are fully prepared for the board exam, certification, and long term professional success.
Our RBT Program Includes
🔴 Required 40 hour RBT course based on the 3rd edition BACB guidelines

Professional Crisis Management (PCMA)
🔵 Professional Crisis Management (PCMA) is a structured, evidence based system that equips professionals with safe and effective strategies for prevention, de escalation, crisis intervention, and reintegration techniques based on ABA principles.
🔵 Designed for ABA professionals, teachers, mental health professionals, and more, this training supports a wide range of behavioral and clinical settings.
🔵 With over 14 years of experience, Vida Training Center provides expert led PCMA training through certified instructors.
🔵 Our programs include individual initial certification and re certification courses, as well as tailored group trainings designed to support safe, compliant, and high quality care environments.
Certified Behavioral Health Technician (CBHT)
🔵 A Certified Behavioral Health Technician (CBHT) is a trained paraprofessional who supports individuals with mental health and substance use disorders by assisting in the implementation of treatment and recovery plans under clinical supervision.
🔵 Vida Training Center is an approved education provider by the Florida Certification Board, which means our programs meet state standards.
🔵 Upon completion, students receive the recognized CBHT certification and documentation accepted by employers and agencies throughout Florida.

(CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant- (HHA) Home Health Aide
🔵 This program prepares students for entry level roles as Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides through 75 hours of online training, along with hands on skills evaluation by a Registered Nurse.
🔵 CNAs provide direct patient care in healthcare settings, while HHAs support individuals in home environments with daily living and personal care.
🔵 Students receive a 75 hour HHA certificate upon completion and are fully prepared to challenge the Florida Board of Nursing CNA state exam if they choose.
Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Training
🔵 Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) helps individuals with mental health conditions develop the skills needed for independent living and successful community integration. This approach focuses on recovery, daily functioning, and improving overall quality of life.
🔵 At Vida Training Center, our PSR training program equips professionals with practical, real world strategies to effectively support individuals in behavioral health settings.
🔵 Graduates may pursue roles such as Behavioral Health Technician, Mental Health Technician, Direct Support Professional, and other positions within psychosocial rehabilitation programs.
🔵 RBT Professional Development Requirements (2026)
🔵 To maintain certification under updated BACB requirements, Registered Behavior Technicians must complete ongoing professional development.
🔵 Complete 12 Professional Development Units (PDUs) every 2 year renewal cycle
🔵 Each PDU equals 1 hour of approved training
🔵 Training content must focus on:
- RBT Task List skills
- Ethics and professional conduct
- Behavior intervention and applied strategies
🔵 At Vida Training Center, our ACE provider verified PDU courses are designed to meet these requirements while helping RBTs strengthen their clinical skills and stay current in the field.
🔵 Courses are developed and approved by BACB ACE Providers, ensuring quality, compliance, and relevance.
🔵 In-services are part of our professional development programs and provide continuing education credits required for professionals in ABA, mental health, healthcare, and behavioral health fields.
🔵 At Vida Training Center, we are accredited and approved to provide fast, accessible, and ethical in-service training that meets all required standards.
🔵 These trainings are designed to keep practitioners up to date with current standards, strengthen their clinical skills, and support ongoing certification and licensure requirements.
🔵 Many in-services must be renewed annually and are mandatory based on employer policies and state regulations, ensuring services are delivered ethically, safely, and in compliance with professional standards.
